Why am I being way too sickly the past few months?

After being absent from work for a whole week because of the flu, I had that Dengue scare, which fotunately was just Systemic Viral Illness. Whatever that is.

Now I'm on my second day of being stuck in my room because of asthma. My asthma was terrible while I was growing up but my almost weekly attacks stopped when I was 13. Since then, my pesky asthma comes just once or twice a year. And it decided to pay me a visit yesterday. I just don't know if it's the first for this year or the second.

The thing is, I am not enjoying this kind of rest from work. Besides the fact that I'm friggin' coughing (with phleghm) every minute, I am soo bored out of my wits! I just finished e-mailing my press releases for the day and now I officially ran out of things to do. I don't have any more DVDs to watch, which means that I have to go DVD shopping ASAP. I also don't have new books to read, which also means that I have to go book shopping ASAP. There's nothing good on TV right now and my eyes are are starting to get tired of being glued to MacGyver's screen. Why do I have this feeling that I'm going to end up napping? Hmmm...

Oh well.

One Major Booboo... Check!

Just committed a major booboo at work.

Some (if not all) of my office friends told me that it wasn't totally my fault but still, I couldn't help but anticipate a major "awarding." So I overreacted, picturing myself being screamed at for hours and getting fired. I was practically moping the whole day because of all the pessimism! Pfffssssss.

The major "awarding" didn't happen. My talk with my boss didn't even last a minute!

Oh well. Everybody's bound to make mistakes sooner or later. Mine happened sooner. Besides, as my office friends told me, my work life wouldn't be complete without committing a major booboo. At least now, I can put a check beside the major booboo item in my work experience list! Hahahahaha...:))

All I can do now is stick to my promise of never doing it again and carry on.

... my 3rd platelet count confirming the fact that I do NOT have Dengue. After three days of going to Capitol Medical Center and having blood extracted from my right arm, left arm, and right ring finger, the doctors gave their diagnosis: Systemic Viral Illness. (Wtf, right? Hahahaha...) After a couple more days of taking things easy, I'll be as good as new again! Now, how do I take things easy?:p

... my ABS-CBN Employee Number. From now on, I, to them, will be referred to as 080145. Hahahahahaha...:))

Tel, my newly hired Matanglawin researcher friend, needed a car with a security alarm for today's (Sunday) episode. She called me up Friday afternoon to check if I was at the BB House and asked me if they could shoot Buknoy. I said yes and a couple of hours later, they were shooting Buknoy while I was bodyslamming him so that his alarm would go off! Hahahaha...:p

Wala lang, natuwa lang ako na may TV exposure na si Buknoy. Kahit less than 5 seconds lang!:p

After yesterday's show and the not-so good reviews from the judges (at least compared to those of the younger David's), I was positive that Archuleta would win.

I even commented on Tel's blog that Cook could just make bawi with his post-Idol albums, which, I'm sure, a lot of people will support.

So it was a pleasant surprise for me when Cook was declared this season's winner! I even jumped for crying out loud! Hahaha...

Come to think of it, this is the very first time that my bet actually won! Yey!
